Abstract
In this study, the effectiveness of a self-monitoring system, combined with goal setting, for an 8-year-old student with behavior disorders was examined. The student increased his on-task behavior in his general education classroom during self-monitoring. His on-task behavior further increased when goal setting was added as an intervention.
