Abstract

The effectiveness of a peer confrontation system applied in a group setting was examined using a reversal design. Two groups of students with disabilities educated in a self-contained classroom within a public school program served as subjects for the study. The results show that a peer confrontation system was effective in modifying the inappropriate behavior of the two groups. Student satisfaction data indicate that the students had positive reactions to the system.
