Abstract
This paper focuses on the dilemma faced by Ocupational Therapists who are in administrative positions without having had adequate training in this area. This issue is discussed through the presentation of a literature review, and the results of a pilot study that was conducted with directors of Occupational Therapy departments in London, Ontario, Canada. The author concludes that the hypothesis that these directors have not received sufficient training, in the area of administration, to practice their roles comfortably, is supported.
