The Preparation of Administrators: Some Observations from the "Firing Line"

Abstract

A professor's year-long return to the elementary school principal- ship provides the basis for this paper. Observations concerning the author's experience are reported, questions concerning the content of preparation programs are raised, and recommendations for the im provement of preparation programs are advanced.
