2. Işik A. Ayiaç, Ph.D., is Associate Professor, Department of Sociology, Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, Turkey. Her main fields of interest are stratification, work and family, and aging. She is currently studying the impact of the Turkish economic crisis on work and family life.
