Abstract

This review presents the nuclei with octupole correlations in the [Formula: see text] mass region. The status of experimental data on the behavior of the energy displacement, the [Formula: see text] transition probability and intrinsic electric dipole moment have been reviewed. The evolutions of the octupole strength with the numbers of protons and neutrons are discussed.
