Abstract

ABSTRACT The performance of the APTIMA Combo 2 assay (AC2) for the detection of Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae infections in urine samples was compared to that of the AMPLICOR CT/NG assay (AMP). The AC2 performance was superior to that of AMP for both organisms in this study.
