Abstract

A boryl radical is generated by 4-cyanopyridine and B2cat2 and illustrated a ketyl radical by visible light, furtherly reduced unsaturated double bond XO (X = C, N, S). The reaction mechanism is confirmed by spectroscopy and calculation studies.
