, has been prepared and characterized by IR, elemental analysis, thermal analysis and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal structure reveals that the compound has an achiral two-dimensional layered structure based on opposite-handed helical chains. In addition, it exhibits significant photocatalytic degradation activity for the degradation of methylene blue.
