Abstract
AbstractA global, bi‐homogeneous, observer for a class of 1‐DOF mechanical systems with Coriolis and centrifugal forces, dry and viscous frictions and non‐vanishing bounded uncertainties/perturbations is proposed, ensuring predefined upper bound of convergence time. The options for convergence acceleration are discussed in a simulation example.
