Abstract
The systematic procedure for the synthesis of active controllers for vibratory systems, presented in a recent paper (2)‡, is extended to embrace the many practically important cases where it is necessary to take account of dynamic effects in the feedback loops. In order to effect this extension, certain new results in modal control theory are developed.
