Abstract

Summary The analytical solutions of transient two-dimensional flow through double permeability media are presented that describe the pressure response of vertically fractured well intercepting a layered reservoir with crossflow, using the methods of integral transform and variable separation, the influences of parameters of in double-permeability model such as permeability ratio interporosity flow parameter X and storativity ratio w on the pressure response of fractured well are calculated and analyzed by the method of numerical inversion. The new log - log diagnosis graphs of the fractured well pressure are given and analyzed here. Introduction Bourdet studied the pressure behavior for transient radial flow in layered reservoir with crossflow by using the method of Laplace transform. Liu researched the transient two-dimensional flow of slightly compressible liquid through double porous media porosity. On the base of their papers, we farther present the new Laplace transform solution for the transient two dimensional flow in layered reservoirs with crossflow. Mathematical Model of the Transient Two-Dimensional Flow The vertically fractured well is arranged in the center of a closed rectangular reservoir with double-permeability. when it works with the constant rate, the transient two-dimensional flow will occur.
