Observation of Ultrafast Coherent Acoustic Vibrations in 2D Antimonene/MoS and Quantification of the Weak Van der Waals Coupling

Abstract

Here we report the observation of ultrafast coherent acoustic vibrations in antimonene/MoS2 2D van der Waals (vdW) heterostructures. The vdW coupling between antimonene/MoS2 layers was successfully quantified through analyzing the observed thickness dependent vibrational frequencies.
