Abstract

Genomics advancements have shaken the human resources (HR) field, giving insights into employee and organizational health and an understanding of the individualized approach to medicine. This study seeks to explore the evolving trends within human resource management (HRM) and genomics by reviewing past research. It also aims to identify key themes and outline potential directions for future investigations in these fields. The current research utilized electronic Scopus databases, which include all major prior studies. This bibliometric analysis utilizes content analysis to explore the methodology, annual contribution trends, and leading countries in the research area. VOS viewer software is also used for bibliometric analysis, incorporating bibliographic coupling, co-occurrence, and co-authorship analyses, which provide various graphical representations of the research network. Furthermore, thematic mapping is conducted to identify different clusters within the topic and highlight recent contributions, where new topics emerge, and new methodologies are employed to study consumer behavior. The current study aims to compile ideas for future research and explore how genomics can be pivotal and beneficial in comprehending HRM in the modern age.
