Abstract
To provide readers with an overview of the content and summarize, the purpose of this chapter is stated as reporting on results with regard to challenges and emerging strategies for a global automotive enterprise towards a post-COVID-19 era, together with the impact of digital transformation on productivity and innovation. One of the objectives of the chapter is to provide an in-depth understanding of various dimensions regarding the focus of this chapter, based on a selection from the recommended topics for the book. Against the background of a global automotive enterprise, the chapter will discuss the scope of challenges and emerging strategies towards developing an understanding of the need for, as well as the employment and adoption of, emerging strategies and their application towards overcoming the challenges brought on by COVID-19.
