Abstract

Abstract Efforts Mobile or smartphone is one of the most strategic media used in 21st-century learning. This study aims to develop Mobile Learning Applications (MLA) Electromagnetic Induction Based on PjBL that are valid for physics learning in high school and improve the critical thinking skills of high school students on electromagnetic induction material. The method used in this research is Research and Development. Media development is carried out by referring to the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages of the development process, namely: Analyze; Design; Develop; Implement and Evaluate. The results of the electromagnetic induction MLA validity test by experts are in the very good category, as well as the results of the media implementation trials for teachers are in the very good category. The results of the trial implementation of the media to students were in a good category and the results of the N-gain test experienced an increase in the average N-gain score from pretest to post-test by 0.45 or 45% were in the medium category. Thus, it can be concluded that the development of Mobile Learning Applications (MLA) Electromagnetic Induction Based on PjBL which was carried out in this study was valid for physics learning in high school and could improve the critical thinking skills of high school students.
