Abstract
The carotene content of Palestinian fodder plants, vegetables and wild plants was determined. The examined fodder plants were: Egyptian clover, Fahli clover, lucerne, horse beans, field peas, vetch, oats, barley, cow peas, maize, pencillaria, Sudan grass and leaves of beetroots. The examined vegetables were: leaves of radish, mangold, sweet potato, spinach, cauliflower, parsley, lettuce, kohlrabi, onion and cabbage. The wild plants examined were: nettle, mallow and portulaca.
