1. Stevenson B. “A 10-10 Vision of Field Education in Australian Social Work , in Conference Handbook and Pre-Conference Papers—interface 1975 , 14th National Conference of the A.A.S.W. The writer traces developments in field education in Australia over the past decade. She describes field education as an interlocking pattern of partnerships of varying generality. Drawing from an analysis of 200 publications related to field education in Australia, U.K. and U.S.A. the author categorizes these under two broad headings: Administration of Field Education Programmes and Supervisory Techniques and Roles. It emerges that the majority of these articles focus on the former category. Nine basic topic areas are suggested as requiring conceptual clarification, theoretical development and empirical research.
