Tibial tunnel placement was aimed at 44 % of the anterior-to-posterior length of the tibial plateau as described by Staubli. The femoral tunnel was positioned using the radiographic quadrant method of Bernard. Postoperative CT scans showed no difference in accuracy or precision of tunnel position between groups. Clinical outcome data were not reported.
