Abstract
A need exists for inexpensive interactive simulation of nonlinear bond graphs. It is shown how existing block diagram oriented simulation languages can easily be adapted to accept bond graphs freely mixed with block diagrams. Procedures are stated for writing the input structure table and for remedying some often occurring causal conflicts and algebraic loops. Examples are given of hands-on simulation using the THTSIM language, written for PDP-11 minicomputers.
