Abstract
In this autoethnography, I (re)write the story of my father, and of myself as father. On one hand, I consider my relationship with my own father. More centrally, though, I restory this relationship as I interrogate my own fathering experiences, and the light they shed on “the” story of my relationship with my father. In (re)telling these stories, I explore the contradictions, tensions, and embodied (dis)connections between three generations of boys and men in my family.
