Abstract
Load-extension, supercontraction, set. and post-yield creep characteristics of two different fiber types containing reduced methylated, reduced re-cross-linked, and normal disulfide bonds are presented. A close relationship is observed between the extension at the turnover point and the early stages of supercontraction and post-yield creep. Final values for set. supercontraction, and post-yield creep are closely related but cannot be predicted from load-extension curves.
