Abstract
This paper reports on the problems which school principals in Kuwait have faced in the aftermath of the Iraqi invasion. Based on a sample of 238 principals and using a questionnaire of 35 items divided into five main areas the research suggested that, inter alia, problems relating to school goals and parents and local community relations were decreased. Conversely, problems which focused on the principal's relationships with senior administrators and with teachers and pupils increased.
