Abstract
Certain subtle abnormalities in ocular motor control are to be found in virtually all children having difficulty in learning to read. This paper cites some recent literature which indicates that these visual abnormalities are, in fact, significant to the processing of visual information and thereby also significant to those who are working with learning disordered children. A schema showing the probable relationship of various visual conditions to learning disorders is also presented. Suggestions are offered for correcting some of these disorders.
