1. Bruce Balow is a professor of special education at the University of Minnesota. He holds a doctorate in educational psychology and has studied, researched, and taught about emotionally disturbed children and pupils with school-related difficulties throughout his professional career. Douglas Fuchs is a psychologist with the Minneapolis Public Schools' Special Education Preschool Program, and is interested in social, psychological, and educational factors associated with underachievement in school. He earned his doctorate in educational psychology/special education at the University of Minnesota.
3. Mary C. Kasbohm has many years' experience as a classroom and special education teacher at all levels from kindergarten through secondary, as demonstration teacher for the University of Minnesota, and as a supervisor-instructor in the University's Psychoeducation Clinic.
