Abstract
A procedure for helping families with children that have been described as learning disabled is presented. The procedure, termed a cognitive problem solving model is described, and three case examples are included for clarification. It was suggested that the procedure is a useful tool for professionals interested in sharing information with groups for the purpose of decreasing anxiety.
