Her most recent research focuses on battered women who have killed their abusive intimate partners, and she also enjoys examining the scholarship of teaching.
2. Shannon N. Davis is a post-doctoral fellow at the Carolina Population Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her recent research has examined cross-national differences in gendered family processes, including the division of household labor and perceptions of fairness of its division.
3. Jammie Price is an associate professor at Appalachian State University where she teaches applied sociology courses and research methods and analysis courses. Her most recent publications include a supplemental textbook with Steve Steele entitled Applied Sociology: Terms, Topics, Tools and Tasks and an article on developing internship programs in Sociological Practice: A Journal of Clinical and Applied Sociology.
