1. Head of counselling at the Scots College, Sydney and an honorary associate at the University of Sydney. He obtained his doctor of philosophy (psychology) from the University of Western Sydney, and this article constitutes part of his PhD research.

2. School of Psychology at Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia. He obtained his PhD in psychology from the University of Western Australia and has held an academic position at the University of Western Sydney. His current principal research and teaching focus are in organizational psychology, and he has published research in social and cross-cultural psychology, as well as research into educational assessment practices.

3. School counseling and school psychology at the University of Sydney and is a practicing registered psychologist. Her main research interests are language interventions with young children and literacy issues.
