Abstract

The book is interesting for everyone who comes into contact with order processing as well as its auditing and TOMs. An overview of the developments concerning a common data protection audit within the meaning of the GDPR is given and legal and interdisciplinary studies are carried out on the design of such audits as well as their benefits and informative value. The result is a draft law that reflects the legal changes that are required to give the audit the necessary framework conditions so that it can achieve its goals for improving data protection and an economic relief for contract processors and their clients at the same time.
