Lidia De Luca obtained her BA with Honors in chemistry in 1999, followed by a PhD in chemistry in 2003, with an emphasis on microwave-assisted organic chemistry, at the Università degli Studi di Sassari. She is currently Research Assistant Professor and Lecturer in Organic Chemistry at the Università degli Studi di Sassari, developing new iron- and copper-catalyzed C-H bond activation reactions. She is author or coauthor of more than 40 scientific publications in refereed international journals.
