Abstract
AbstractIn vaccine development studies, scientists usually compare the immunogenicity of candidate vaccines using lab assays. However, assays have limit of detection (LOD) issues that challenge the comparison of immunogenicity. Inappropriate accounting for the LOD often leads to biased coefficient estimates. In this study, we explored the bias due to the LOD issues by simulation and proposed a bi-censoring (ice) method. This adjustment yielded less biased estimates.
