Abstract

Abstract Polybasic organic acids in fruits are separated by precipitation as lead salts. Trimethylsilyl derivatives formed directly from these lead salts are separated and identified by gasliquid chromatographic procedures. Twentyseven types and varieties of fruits were analyzed and reported.
