Abstract

A varistor equivalent electrical network generally used in CAD software is presented. Based on a PSPICE model already presented [5] a PSIM model valid in static regime was developed. Since correct parameter estimation is very important for a model valid in transient regimes, a more detailed varistor electrostatic capacity Cp determination for future model improvements is presented.
