Readiness of Healthcare Students to be on the Frontline against COVID-19: A Qualitative Study in Vietnam (Preprint)

Abstract
The voluntary involvement of healthcare students worldwide in the COVID-19 pandemic has been well acknowledged.
The purpose of this study was to determine the readiness of Vietnamese healthcare students to provide frontline Covid-19 support.
Qualitative research was undertaken with 20 healthcare students utilizing interview guidelines.
The key findings showed that willing attitudes, self-confidence, and perceived support were factors that engaged the students in this voluntary work.
Healthcare students in Vietnam showed readiness to provide Covid-19 frontline support with willing attitudes, self-confidence, and perceived emotional support.
