Abstract
Composite solid electrolytes (CSE) in the system LiClO4-MgO with highly-dispersed magnesium oxide (with the specific surface area of 220 m2/g) were synthesized and their electrical properties were investigated. The concentration dependence of conductivity has a maximum of 10-2 S/cm at 200оС at 80-90 m/o (40-50 v/o) MgO. Similar behavior is typical for CSE where the conductivity occurs via ionic salt / oxide interface regions. Comparison of ac-conductivities and volt-ampere dependences measured in dry and humid atmospheres suggests that the conductivity is governed by lithium cations.
