Abstract
The sample of the study, which aims to examine the relationships between family negative emotions, work attention, and the importance of work, consists of 388 academic staff. Simple linear and multiple linear regression analyzes were applied to test the hypotheses developed within the conceptual framework of the research. It has been found that negative emotions from the family have a negative effect on attention to work and the importance of work has a moderating role in this relationship.
