Abstract
Of the 8 cases of isolated congenital mitral stenosis reported in the literature the authors add 2 cases personally observed. The postmortem findings in one of these patients is described; in the other, improvement was noted following surgical intervention. The literature is reviewed aind the diagnostic criteria, including angiocardiographic findings, are described.
