In this research, it is aimed to analyze the scientific studies conducted in the national area about the fear of trying new food and the desire to try new food in terms of bibliometrics. Within the framework of the purpose of the research; A national literature review was conducted. As a result of the scans; Theses, papers and articles obtained were examined. Graduate theses, papers and articles prepared within the scope of the study were evaluated on many different criteria. According to the results of the data obtained from the research; It has been determined that the oldest study published in Turkey on the concepts of fear of trying new food and desire to try new food in the national area is a paper published in 2013, the first article was published in 2014 and the first thesis was published in 2018. Therefore, it is understood that the studies on the subject are very new. With this; Due to the fact that the studies are very new, the scarcity of published scientific studies is also noteworthy. One of the most striking data obtained from the research is that there is no consensus among the researchers on the translation of the English concepts of Food Neophobia and Food Neophilia into Turkish. Therefore, it has been determined that the concepts related to the subject are translated into Turkish differently. As a result, the data of the studies published on the concepts of fear of trying new food and desire to try new food in the national area are given in detail in the findings and conclusions and recommendations section.
