Abstract

The biofilm formation, which protects bacteria from stresses, including antibiotics and host immune responses, can be commonly found in clinical S. aureus isolates worldwide. Treatment failure of traditional antibiotics in biofilm-associated S. aureus infections remains a serious challenge.
