Abstract

ABSTRACT This study presents the first complete genome of Staphylococcus aureus ST5477 , one of the most common sequence types (ST) from bovine in eastern Africa. The genome consists of a 2,723,132-bp circular chromosome and a 3,044-bp plasmid. This strain was collected in 2017 from cow milk in Tanzania.
