Abstract
This book presents data on research and development carried out on mycoplasma diseases of sheep, goats and cattle over the last decade by laboratories worldwide. Chapters include discussions on the isolation and growth of mycoplasmas from ruminants, detection and differentiation of Mycoplasma spp. using polymerase chain reaction (PCR)/gradient gel electrophoresis, molecular typing of Mycoplasma spp., antigenic analysis of mycoplasmas, antimicrobial sensitivity testing, contagious bovine pleuropneumonia, contagious agalactia, contagious caprine pleuropneumonia, bovine respiratory diseases, respiratory diseases of small ruminants, eye infections, reproductive diseases of cattle and emerging and unculturable Mycoplasma spp.
