Abstract
AbstractMeligethinus Grouvelle is redefined and distinguished from neighbouring genera Pria Stephens and Meligethes Stephens. Seven species are included in the genus, five of them, M. apicalis (Grouvelle), M. latipes (Grouvelle), M. elegans (Grouvelle), M. plagiata (Grouvelle) and M. pallidula (Erichson) being transferred from the genus Pria Stephens. Lectotypes are designated for the species where necessary and a key for their separation provided.
