1. Grace Ong Yan, Ph.D., is an architectural historian and architect who currently teaches at Philadelphia University and the Barnes Foundation. She recently co-edited the book Architect: The Work of the Pritzker Prize Laureates in Their Own Words. Her doctoral dissertation, “Architecture, Advertising, and Corporations, 1929–1959,” undertaken at the University of Pennsylvania, examines how corporate clients and their advertising strategies influenced modern architecture in America.
