Abstract

Key Points Allogeneic platelet MHC class I transfusions can both prevent and/or alleviate anti-CD61 (GPIIIa) T-cell–mediated ITP. The transfusions reverse abnormal bone marrow megakaryocyte histology and inhibit CD61-induced cytotoxicity.
