Sistem Informasi Pelaporan Kerusakan Sarana Dan Prasarana pada Asrama Mahasiswa Universitas Andalas Padang

Abstract

The report on damage to facilities and infrastructure at the Andalas University (Unand) student dormitory was done manually by recording about the damaging on the reported book provided in each dormitory building, therefore, the reporting process and actions on the report took a long time. This study aimed to analyze and to design information systems for reporting damage to facilities and infrastructure based on SMS Gateway at Unand student dormitories. This research was developed by using the waterfall method, UML model, the PHP programming language, MySQL database and Gammu technology for sending message. The information system which had been built would make the boarding resident (inluding the dormitory management and the students) easier to report damage to facilities in dorm’s rooms to technicians and facilitate management to record any damage and to control the performance control of technicians in the field to give the best service to students who live in dormitory.
