Abstract

A mild and efficient tandem benzo[d]thiazole directed C–H iodination and trifluoromethylthiolation for the synthesis ofortho-trifluoromethylthiolated 2-arylbenzo[d]thiazoles have been developed using AgSCF₃as a coupling partner.
