Abstract

Structural evolution of SnS₂ from vertically or parallelly aligned nanosheets to ultra-small nanocrystals on nanocarbon surfaces is demonstrated and the latter exhibit enhanced rate performance and cycling stability for both Li-ion and Na-ion storage.
