Abstract
An efficient asymmetric Mannich-type reaction between α-tetralone-derived β-keto esters/amides and 1,3,5-triaryl-1,3,5-triazinanes was realized catalyzed by chiral N,N'–dioxide-Ni(ii)/Mg(ii) complexes.
