Abstract

We developed an asymmetric Pd-catalyzed [3 + 2] cycloaddition of α,β-unsaturated pyrazolones with vinylethylene carbonates. An array of spiro-tetrahydrofuran-pyrazolones were obtained in high yields with excellent enantioselectivities.
