Abstract

A catalytic protocol for the RhIII-promoted N-heteroarylation of 2-pyridones with N-heterocyclic boronates containing pyridines, pyrazoles, pyrimidine, quinoline, thiophene and furan has been disclosedviaa removable pyridine auxiliary.
